What does it take to be a literacy tutor? If you have patience, compassion, and the ability to read, write, and speak English, you have what it takes.

Volunteer opportunities currently exist in:

  4. Fund Raising and Event Coordination
  5. Grant Writing
  6. Communications and Graphic Design

If you are already a tutor with the Literacy Council, please fill out a Tutor Hours form and send it to info@literacyseattle.org

Tutor Training Information

Our ESL Tutor Training workshops are held several times throughout the year. Check our Events page for upcoming dates.
